Pokémon Buylist Guide I: How We Condition

At Champions we are always looking to expand our inventory for our customers. Bear with us as we figure out a good system for trading and selling, but for now our program will work as follows.

1. Review our current buy list. The name of the card and set will be listed as well as our offer which will only be for cards in NEAR MINT condition. (Please view our conditions guide below to determine how your card rates.)

2. Submit a list of what you want to trade or sell either through our Contact Us page or via email (preferred) at champstradingco@gmail.com.

3. Wait for a response from us which will include what cards we would take, if not listed, and what our potential offer could be for deposit or trade credit.

4. If agreeable, send your order in the same order as the list we return to you. If we have to shuffle through cards we will impose a 10% fee deducted from the total offer amount to compensate our time.

5. We will send your cash or merch card within 24 hours GUARANTEED.

 (Cards we agree to not close a deal on are the senders responsibility to cover shipping).

How We Grade Your Cards

Near Mint - No more than 2 areas of whiting on the edges or corners of each card in total. No folds, bends, creases, or indentations in the cards surface, of any kind. No surface scratching, especially in the holo of the card.

Lightly Played - No more than 4 areas of whiting on the edges or corners of each card in total. No folds, bends, creases, or indentations in the cards surface, of any kind. Only minor surface scratching allowed, especially in the holo of the card.

Moderately Played - Will have significant whiting on the edges and/or corners but not on more than 50% of the available area.  No folds, bends, creases, or indentations in the cards surface, of any kind. Slightly more than minor surface scratching allowed, especially in the holo of the card.

Heavily Played - Will have significant whiting on the edges and/or corners up to and including all of the available area. No fold or creases, of any kind. Minor bends on the corners allowed. Significant surface scratching allowed, especially in the holo of the card.

Damaged - (Normally not accepted) Will have grading classifications up to or equivalent to Heavily Played but will also have serious scratches or surface indentations, bends, or creases.

We will absolutely not accept water damaged cards, cards with any stains, inscriptions, significant surface area missing on the front or back or cards with more than 2 bends or creases that seriously affect the shape or image of the card. You may choose to send cards in this condition in but you will recieve no credit. If you wish to have them returned you will be responsible for covering shipping costs.
